EXTRACTION DU CADMIUM PAR VAPOMETALLURGIE DES PHOSPHATES APATITIQUES

Abstract

It est possible d'extraire le cadmium des phosphates apatitiques synthétiques, hydroxyapatites ou fluorapatites, par vapométallurgie sous forme de CdCl2, H2O en utilisant NH4Cl, NaCl ou CaCl2 comme agent chlorurant. Dans tous les cas l'elimination est importante dés 800°C; le chlorure de calcium se révèle l'agent le plus efficace dans le cas des fluorapatites. Des mécanismes d'extraction sont proposés. On peut suggérer une voie pour l'elimination directe du cadmium des minerais phosphatés apatitiques.

It is possible to remove, by a vapometallurgical process, cadmium from synthetic phosphates, hydroxyapatites or fluorapatites, as CdCl2·H2O using NH4Cl, NaCl or CaCl2 as chlorinated reactant. In all cases, the extraction yield is high over 800°C; calcium chloride is the most efficient reactant for fluorapatite treatment. Mechanisms of extraction are proposed. So, a way for removing cadmium directly from apatitic phosphate ores can be suggested.
