α-HYDROXY- UND α-TRIMETHYLSILOXYPHOSPHONATE AUS 1,1,1,4,4,4-HEXAFLUOR- UND 1,1,1-TRIFLUORBUTAN-2-ON

Abstract

Diethylphosphite reacted with 1,1,1,4,4,4-hexafluorobutane-2-one (1) and 1,1,1-trifluorobutane-2-one (2) to give the α-hydroxyphosphonates, 3 and 4. Diethyl(trimethylsily1)phosphite formed the corresponding trimethylsiloxy derivatives, 5 and 6. Triethylphosphite and 1 were found to furnish a mixture of phosphate 7 obtained also from compound 3 in a base catalyzed rearrangement, and 1,1,1,4,4,4-hexafluoro-2-ethoxy-2-butene (8).
