REAKTIONEN VON (±)-BICYCLO[2.2.1]HEPTAN-2-ON ((±)-NORCAMPHER) UND 8-OXATRICYCLO[5.2.1.0^2,6]DECAN MIT SCHWEFELKOHLENSTOFF

Abstract

The (±)-Bicyclo[2.2.1]heptan-2-one ((±)-Norcamphor) 1 and 8-Oxatricyclo[5.2.1.0^2,6]decane 3 react with carbon disulfide, strong base and an alkylating agent in dipolar aprotic solvents giving racemic mixtures of 3- or 9-dialkylthiomethylene compounds 2a–e or 4a–d, respectively.
