Abstract
(7,10-diphenylfluoranthene-8-)heptamethylcyclotetrasiloxane (DFHMCTS) and (7,10-diphenyl-fluoranthene-8-) triethoxysilane(DFTES) were synthesized via Diels-Alder reaction of 7,9-diphenyl-8H-cyclopentacena phthylene-8-one (DCPAO) with vinyl-heptamethylcyclotetrasiloxane (VHMCTS) and vinyl-triethoxysilane(VTES) respectively by using diphenylether as solvent. The structures of the two new products have been characterized by IR. UV, 1HNMR and elememental analysis.
