Abstract
A survey of 119 graduate social work students revealed higher levels of stress among part-time students than among full-time students. Off-campus, part-time students reported higher levels of stress than either on-campus, part- or full-time students. Thirty-eight variables, representing three major groupings of stressors (program factors, external factors, and stress indicators), were examined and analyzed to compare the perceived stress level of students from full-time and part-time programs.
