Abstract

Material flow perpendicular to an electric field but parallel to an externally applied magnetic field has been observed for MBBA sandwiched between two electrodes with a separation of 60 microns. After removing the electric field, while maintaining the magnetic field, defects formed which appear to be a Block line between two Neel walls (Helfrich splay-bend walls).
