Abstract
The Advanced Science Research Center of JAEN in Tokai, Japan hosted their first international symposium in early November 2000 with two and a half days of talks and discussions. A total of 262 participants came to Tokai, more than 50 from outside Japan, to hear 25 invited talks and see almost 200 posters. The conference marked the loth anniversary of the rebuilding of the JRR3M reactor in JAERI, and one highlight of the meeting was a tour of this well instrumented and well used facility (see Neutron News 9.3).
