Abstract

In a recent editorial in Neutron News, Albert Furrer discussed why neutron scattering no longer seems exciting, for example in relation to the rapid development of new ideas at synchrotrons. While I would agree with his diagnosis of a problem, I wonder if his suggested cure may do the patient more harm than good.
