The Spanish CRG Instruments at ILL: Historical Perspective and Future Developments

Abstract

This article provides not only a historical review of the activities of the two Spanish Collaborating Research Groups (CRG) at the Institut Laue Langevin (ILL), but it also presents the two new instrumental projects currently in development. After a brief description of the instruments with Spanish participation (D1B and D15), we will present the project of constructing a new detector for D1B as well as the project of building a new Spanish CRG instrument “XtremeD”.
