Abstract
In late March 1995, the IBR-2 pulsed reactor in Dubna resumed operations after a nearly one-year hiatus for replacement of the movable reflector, the modulator of reactivity. The service life of the reflector is between five and seven years, after which it should be replaced. This was performed as anticipated, and on March 27, experiments on all spectrometers of IBR-2 resumed operation. The main parameters of IBR-2—mean and pulsed power, width of thermal neutron pulse—remain as before. The next reflector replacement is planned in 2002.
