Patricia A. Soenksen, C.H.E., M.B.A., is a senior consultant with Oncology Resource Consultants, Inc., a Washington, D.C.-based oncology consulting firm. Formerly, she was a vice president in the Moses Cone Health System in Greensboro, N.C., responsible for oncology and cardiology product lines. Joseph R. Halperin, M.D., is the vice president of oncology services for the Moses Cone Health System. He is the president of the North Carolina Oncology Society and a member of the board of trustees of the Association of Community Cancer Centers. Ms. Soenksen and Dr. Halperin worked together at Moses Cone Health System developing regional oncology partnerships.
