Jacqueline Vischer Skaburskis
Jacqueline Vischer Skaburskis was born in London, England in 1947. She has a Master's in Psychology from the University of Wales, and is now finishing her Ph.D. in Architecture at the University of California, Berkeley.
Her dissertation research is concentrated on the planning and design of mental health facilities. She is interested in involving the community in this process, and in employing designers and users to generate alternatives to hospitals and other medical settings.
She is married to an architect turned city planner, and will soon be moving to Canada.
