The field has come to a point in which reliable transference-related measures have been developed. It is time now to describe and compare them. This set of papers does this for seven measures which are beginning to be much used. This paper proposes criteria for inclusion of measures in this class, explains why these measures were created now, summarizes the existing comparisons of these measures, as well as compares the main hoped-for benefits of using them.
