A case study of subscription television: Bartlesville, Oklahoma

Abstract

This article describes a “Cable Theater,” one form of subscription television, that operated in a medium sized Oklahoma community for eleven months. The author offers historical and field survey data to illustrate the problems, faults, and advantages of this system. The article is taken from a Master's thesis, directed by Ansel Resler of the University of Oklahoma Speech Department.
