This article examines computer applications available to augment research methods and statistics courses. Products are organized into four headings: student workbooks with data sets, student versions of statistical software packages, Internet applications and CD-ROMS. The author examines a selected sample, describing each product and offering some advice about the utility of each as a tutorial device for courses in research methods and statistics.
