“Equal Time” is devoted to brief (600 word maximum) statements prompted either by events and developments in our discipline or by articles published in this journal. When a published manuscript is commented on by a contributor to “Equal Time,” we will provide the author of that manuscript an opportunity to reply and have his response printed along with the comment Our readers’ contributions to “Equal Time” are earnestly solicited ; decision on publishability of those contributions, as with other material which appears in Western Speech, rests with the editorial staff.—RPF
