Summer Smith Taylor's research career was too brief, cut short by her death from illness at age 39 in 2011.
Davida Charney is a professor in the Department of Rhetoric and Writing at the University of Texas at Austin. Her latest project is a book, Persuading God: Rhetorical Studies of First Person Psalms, to be published by Sheffield Press.
