Katrina Hinson

Katrina Hinson is an assistant professor of English (Rhetoric, Writing and Professional Communication) at Tarleton State University in North Central Texas. Her research interests include the connections and intersections of illness and social media and the way in which people use social media such as Facebook to create discourse about illness; perhaps more importantly, she wants to know to what end such discourse is created, shared and re-shared and to explore what rhetoricians of health and medicine can learn from such health related exchanges via social media.
