3. Computerization movements (which focus on societal analysis) are, of course, only one way to slice and dice the level of analysis of information systems history. Others focus on organizational level (the web of computing and structuration theory), group level (actor-network-theory) and the individual level (TAM, the technology acceptance model) at the individual level. If you haven't heard of any or all of these academic constructs, they are not critical to understand this review.
