Abstract

As a logical extension of the decision support initiatives that preceded it, data warehousing focuses on the access and usability issues that eluded information centers, executive information systems, and spreadsheets. Yet the elusiveness of the data access solution means that data warehousing will not be the last new name applied to the accessibility challenge.
