MANAGING IS PERSONNEL

Reenergizing People after Downsizing

Pages 63-65 | Published online: 08 Feb 2007

Abstract

The bottom line demands placed on severely downsized IS organizations require that CIOs and senior IT executives restore the trust and empowerment necessary to excellent internal and external customer service. Guidelines are provided for this reenergizing process, which marks the first step in transforming the IS organization into a flexible learning organization that is responsive to the changing business environment.
