Preparation and Characterization of EuVO4@YVO4

Abstract

Nanoparticles of EuVO4 and Core-shell nanoparticles of EuVO4@YVO4 have been prepared by co-precipitation method. The structures and luminescent properties of both nanoparticles were characterized and compared. The results demonstrate that the surfaces of EuVO4 nanopartilces have been successfully passivated and their luminescent properties have been improved.
