Abstract
The effects of catalyst supports, like CNTs and Al2O3, and the Ce addition on the catalytic performance of CO2 methanation were investigated. The addition of Ce could increase dispersivity of nickel species, which were reduced more easily with CNTs-supported catalyst, and the addition of Ce promoted the reduction of nickel species. Furthermore, compared with the Ni-Ce/Al2O3 catalyst, a significant improvement of catalytic performance for CO2 methanation was obtained for Ni-Ce/CNTs catalyst.
