Abstract

This paper addresses delayed controller design for a single degree of freedom (SDOF) semiactive suspension on in-vehicle networks (IVNs). Employing the Nyquist curve approach, the sufficient and necessary conditions of the feedback gains and the delays are derived. The controller is designed by using delayed positive feedback of a controllable-damping and a variable spring-stiffness. Some examples are illustrated for a quarter-car suspension model. The simulation results demonstrate the effectiveness and the simplicity of the proposed controller.
