Effect of Cobalt and Nickel Substitution on Structural and Magnetic Properties of Spinel Ferrite

Abstract

Cobalt substituted Nickel ferrites, Ni1-xCoxFe2O4 where x = 0, 0.6, one were successfully synthesized by sol-gel auto-combustion method. With the help of the XRD machine, the phase formation and structural analysis of the samples have been carried out. The surface morphology has been studied using Transmission Electron Microscopy. The magnetic properties of the synthesized samples were carried out using Vibrating Sample Magnetometer. The lattice parameter was found to be in the range of around 8 Å it is noted that the lattice parameter is varied sample to sample and have been mentioned in this research paper.
