Design and Simulation of Electroacoustic Transducer Based on Giant Magnetostrictive Material

Abstract

In this article, the Tb-Dy-Fe alloy rod is prepared by the zone melting and directional solidification process. Then use ANSYS finite element software to simulate the magnetic field. The results show that the magnetic circuit system of the transducer is closed well. However, the magnetic field distribution of the alloy rods in the axial and radial directions is not uniform, so the magnetostrictive material should be treated with segmented slices. Finally, the dynamic simulation is carried out, According to the harmonic response spectrum, the response range of the electroacoustic transducer is about 0–4000 hz, and the resonant frequency is 3092 Hz.
