Sur l'équation a3 + b3 = cp

Pages 1-13 | Published online: 03 Apr 2012

Abstract

Soit p un nombre premier ≥ 17. Cet article concerne l'équation diophantienne a3 + b3 = cp.

Let p be a prime number ≥ 17. This paper deals with the diophantine equation a3 + b3 = cp. If we suppose that the Taniyama–Weil conjecture is true, we get a criterion that often allows one to prove that this equation has no nonzero integer solution with a, band c coprime. In particular, we verify that this is the case if p is < 10000.
