Abstract

The metal substituent effect on complementary triple hydrogen bonding pairs was investigated by 1H NMR spectroscopy. The results demonstrated that the metal ion reduced the hydrogen bonding ability of the ADA complex [NBu4][Rh(cod)(orotate)] with 2,6-diaminopyridine.
