Katherine Laycock is a PhD candidate in the School of Planning, University of Waterloo where her professional and research interest concern post-disaster and climate change action, communication, social capital, and community cohesion in Canada and Southeast Asia. She is currently involved in collaborative projects on mentoring, recent immigrant experiences, and knowledge exchange.
