Cassie Lynch is an editorial assistant for Equity & Excellence in Education while she is a doctoral student in the Educational Policy, Research and Administration department, specializing in Higher Education at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst. Her research focuses on federal, state, and institutional policies concerning access to and success in higher education for low-income students and how policies are interpreted and implemented at the institutional level (K-12, community college, and higher education).
