Abstract
The purposes of this study were to determine the relationships of reaction time, movement time, and completion time to certain motor performances, strength scores, anthropometric measures, and maturity of boys 13 years of age. Neither total body nor arm reaction times had significant correlations with any of the experimental variables; these two reaction times correlated .44 with each other. Total body movement and completion times had relatively high correlations with motor performance and strength measures, but not with the anthropometric and maturity tests. The highest multiple correlation obtained was .76 between body completion (over-all) time as the criterion and shuttle-run and standing broad jump as the experimental variables.
