A Test of Leg Power

Abstract

A test of vertical leg power was derived from the concept of power as defined in the physical sciences and was used to measure leg power in units of horsepower. Used on a sample of 80 college males it had a test-retest reliability of 0.985 and a coefficient of objectivity of 0.981.
