Abstract
Four forced-choice teacher evaluation forms were developed and administered to students in 103 physical education activity classes. A stability coefficient and internal consistency estimates were computed on the various equivalent forms. Two validity coefficients were calculated using average grade assigned by the instructor and a composite rating obtained from supervisors. It was concluded that the results are internally consistent and relatively stable across time; however, the validity of the instruments remains questionable. Administrative decisions based largely upon the results of such instruments are not supported.
