H. Thomas Johnson
H. Thomas Johnson holds the Retzlaff Chair in Quality Management in the School of Business Administration at Portland State University. He is author of Relevance Regained: From Top-Down Control to Bottam-Up Empowerment (New York: Free Press, 1992) and coauthor of Relevance Lost: The Rise and Fall of Management Accounting (Cambridge, Mass.: Harvard Business School Press, 1987). He earned a doctorate degree in economic history at the University of Wisconsin-Modison.
