Dear Readers,

Welcome to the last issue of the Journal of Statistics Education. No, we are not going out of business; we are adopting a new name. As of 2021 we will be the Journal of Statistics and Data Science Education. We added a section on teaching data science a while back, but now we are expanding our name to reflect the evolution of our field and to make it clear that the journal, like our parent organization the American Statistical Association, is a place for data science. We will kick off having a new name with a special issue of the journal, on the role of computing in the statistics and data science curriculum, which should appear early in the coming year.

The current issue includes eight regular articles, one Research in K-12 Statistics Education article, and something different for us: a cluster of five articles related to the teaching of Bayesian statistics. The Bayesian cluster includes a presentation of how and why Bayesian ideas should be added to the curriculum, which should be of particular value for readers interested in introducing Bayesian ideas to their students (and I hope that includes many of you); guidance on how to structure a semester-long Bayesian course for undergraduates; a discussion of the ever-evolving nature of Bayesian computing; a book review; and a panel interview, conducted by Allan Rossman, of several Bayesian educators.

I remind you that you can submit a paper under one of the following four categories: General (which includes the health sciences and data science sections), Research in K-12 Statistics Education, Data Sets and Stories, and Brief Communications. All submissions to the journal are made through the Scholar One system at https://mc.manuscriptcentral.com/ujse.

You can find past issues, an updated Aims and Scope document, guidelines for authors, and information about the journal and editorial board at http://www.tandfonline.com/loi/ujse20.

As always, I hope you enjoy reading this issue and I welcome your feedback.
