Deborah T. Levenson

Deborah T. Levenson is the author of the award-winning Adiós Niño: The Gangs of Guatemala City and the Politics of Death (Duke University Press, 2013). A professor of history at Boston College and an affiliate of Asociación para el Avance de Ciencias Sociales in Guatemala City, she has written extensively about Guatemala and is a co-editor with Greg Grandin and Elizabeth Oglesby of The Guatemala Reader: History, Culture and Politics (Duke University Press, 2011).
