The Ontological Commitments of Relational Philosophy

Pages 324-327 | Received 11 Nov 2010, Accepted 10 Dec 2010, Published online: 25 Aug 2011

Abstract

The author clarifies some of his previous comments on Ken Gergen's (2009) Relational Being and continues to argue against the possibility of ontological neutrality. The author also clarifies and reaffirms the importance of an ontological commitment to the lived relation, and not to any of its abstract representations.
