Bayard L. Catron
Bayard Catron is Professor of Public Administration and Policy at The George Washington University. He received his BA in philosophy from Grinnell College, his MA in philosophy from the University of Chicago, and MCP and PhD in Social Policy Planning at the University of California, Berkeley. After many years of teaching public policy courses and working in ethics in government, he turned to work on environmental issues about five years ago. He was research director of a NAPA project on intergenerational equity; and he pursued environmental philosophy on a Fulbright at the University of Oslo. In the past two years, he has also developed a course in Land Use Planning and Community Development.
