Angela M. Eikenberry

Angela M. Eikenberry is Professor of Public Affairs in the School of Public Administration at the University of Nebraska at Omaha (UNO). Her research focuses on the social, economic and political roles philanthropy, voluntary associations, and nonprofit organizations in democratic governance. In 2016 she received the UNO campus-wide Award for Distinguished Research or Creative Activity. She recently co-edited a textbook on nonprofit management: Reframing Nonprofit Management: Democracy, Inclusion, and Social Change (Melvin & Leigh, 2018) and is currently President of the Association for Research on Nonprofit Organizations and Voluntary Action (ARNOVA).

Billie Sandberg

Billie Sandberg is an Associate Professor in the Department of Public Administration at Portland State University where she also serves as the Director of The Nonprofit Institute. Her research focuses on the application of critical social theory to issues of public governance, with a focus on philanthropy and the nonprofit sector. Her work has been published in Administrative Theory & Praxis, Administration & Society, Voluntas, and the Journal of Public Affairs Education. She is the co-editor of and a contributor to Reframing Nonprofit Organizations: Democracy, Inclusion, and Social Change (Melvin & Leigh, 2019).

Roseanne M. Mirabella

Roseanne M. Mirabella Ph.D. is a Professor in the Department of Political Science and Public Affairs and Executive Director of the Center for Community Research and Engagement. Dr. Mirabella conducts research on philanthropy and nonprofit management education, international education for managers of NGOs, and critical perspectives on nonprofit organization management. She recently received the 2019 Academic of the Year Award from the New Jersey Chapter of the American Society for Public Administration.
