ABSTRACT

This paper briefly reviews several chromatographic separation methods for analysis of asphalt, and recommends the supercritical fluid extraction as one of the most effective methods for separation and analysis of asphalt. Several different kinds of asphalt have been used as samples. The experimental results are discussed.
