Calibration of Benzol-Acetone Combined Dewaxing and Deoiling Unit of the Fushun Petrochemical Company No. 1 Refinery

Abstract

This article reports the calibration of the combined benzol-acetone dewaxing and deoiling unit at the Fushun Petrochemical Company No. 1 Refinery. An attempt was made to run the unit in 1997. It was examined and repaired twice between 1997 and 2002. After that, several problems were solved and the capacity of processing lubricating oil reached 0.35 Mt/a. The unit avoided being shut down for maintenance by the addition of input/output valves and tube shell side parallel lines for 6 heat exchangers of the oil recovery system. At last, some results were given.
