ABSTRACT
This paper presents the results of a steamflood feasibility study of Ewan C-2 and C-3 reservoirs located in the Niger Delta.
The study employed a steam flood process model to predict the reservoirs' performance under steam flooding. The results showed that oil/steam ratios of up to 0.76 for C-2 and 0.82 for C-3 reservoirs are obtainable at steam injection pressure of 2500 psia and steam rate of 1000 bbl/d, indicating a real potential for oil recovery by steam flooding in both reservoirs.
