Abstract

The effect of tide on composition of Venice lagoon water is studied. At this purpose the concentration of phosphate, silicate, nitrite, nitrate, iodide, bromide and sulfate has been determined for a series of samples of lagoon water, collected in the same station every two hours during a sampling time of twenty two hours. Correlations between concentration and tide behaviour are drawn out.
