Abstract

Remote Sensing Fourier Transform Infrared Emission Spectroscopy was applied to the study of Freon‐12 thermal fragmentation in alcohol / air flame. The concentration of the products and the temperature of the flame were calculated. The results show that, this method can be used to monitor freons. In addition, this method has potential in combustion chemistry, for combustion characteristics can be given by measuring the spectral lines and calculating.
