Abstract

The thermal insulation material, which is principally made from coal refuse, possesses high compressive strength, low thermal conductivity and so on. It's a new way for the harnessing and the comprehensive utilization of coal refuse. This paper reveals that the coal refuse content and the impurities such as Fe3+ and Ti4+ have influences on the thermal insulation material's properties and its technological process, by analysing the ehemical and physical changes in the sintering process. What's more, the relationship between the sintering technological paraments and the properties have been obtained.
