Both on the faculty of Government, Uppsala University in Sweden, Stern and Sundelius also have been leaders of CRISMART, in the Swedish National Defence College and Sundelius is now Chief Scientist of the Swedish Emergency Management Agency with responsibilities for homeland security. Boin and 't Hart are both professors of public administration, the former at Leiden University and latter at Utrecht in the Netherlands.
