Hamid R. Nemati

Hamid Nemati is the director of the MSITM program and Associate Professor of Information Systems in the Information Systems and Operations Management Department at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. He holds a doctorate degree from the University of Georgia and Masters of Business Administration from The University of Massachusetts. Before coming to UNCG, Dr. Nemati was on the faculty of J. Mack Robinson College of Business Administration at Georgia State University. In his previous life, he was a programmer/analyst, a system developer, and a consultant among other professions. He also has extensive professional experience and has consulted with a number of major corporations. His research specialization is in the areas of Decision Support Systems, Data Warehousing, Business Intelligence, Data Mining and Knowledge Management. He has presented numerous research and scholarly papers nationally and internationally. His articles have appeared in a number of premiere, professional and scholarly journals.
