Nelson Oly Ndubisi

Dr. Tun Mahathir Mohamed is Malaysia's longest and influential prime minister and was born in 1925, in Alor Setar, Kedah State. A doctor by training, he first entered parliament in 1964 and rose in the United Malays National Organization (UMNO). He became the Minister of Education in 1974, Deputy UMNO President in 1981, appointed as Prime Minister on 16th July 1981, and resigned as Prime Minister on 31st October 2003. During his 22 year stint as Prime Minister, Malaysia made significant advances in economic and infrastructural development, including the establishment of the Multimedia Super Corridor (MSC). As a political leader, Tun Mahathir is widely known and respected as a visionary leader.

Nelson Oly Ndubisi is Professor of Entrepreneurship at the Nottingham University Business School of the University of Nottingham, Malaysia Campus. Dr Ndubisi has published extensively and has won many international awards in recognition of his research in the fields of ICT, Entrepreneurship and Marketing. He is the convener of the Entrepreneurship and SME Global Conference. His research interests are in the areas of global ICT adoption and management, entrepreneurship and innovation, and electronic transaction.
