Abstract

The paper is dealing with an over-thrust in the iron-ore field at Bispberg, Central Sweden, which has cut off and displaced a large ore complex. The leptite breccia of the dislocation zone has become silicified by metasomatic processes. The movements have taken place during the Archaean and have continued into the Jotnian or post-Jotnian times.
