Abstract
An attempt is made to summarize the investigations made by C.-A. Althin (1954 a, 1954 b) and Tage Nilsson (1935, 1964 a, 1964 b, 1967) concerning the peat-bogs Ageröds mosse and Rönneholms mosse.
The settlement history of the area during the Stone Age is examined with special regard to where the sites were situated in relation to the filling-up of the lake.
The conclusion is that the hunters — fishers by the lake laid the same claim to their sites during the whole period BO–SB 1.
